- There will be a parent meeting on March 18th at 7:00pm in the middle school cafeteria to go over details of the Washington DC trip that is scheduled for June 9th-12th, 2025. This meeting is for parents that have students in the class of 2029 and 2030. Flyers will be going home with students soon. - Register for your Council Bluffs Public Library Card here. Middle School students were paid a visit from the CBPL teen librarian this week and were presented with the benefits of having a library card with CB Public Library. This will allow students to check out books both digitally and in person.
- Attention middle school students. If you’re interested in learning about how to make the middle school yearbook, join yearbook club. The first meeting is Monday, March 18 from 3:35-4:15 in Mrs. Schnepel’s room (room 125 in the high school)
- JUNIORS & SENIORS: Please find your prom invitation in your email from Ms. Abbott and RSVP by April 1st. Thank you!
- Those interested in taking Drivers Ed will need to sign up with Moore Better Driver’s Education. We do not offer it directly through the school any more but work with Moore Better Driver’s Ed. You can sign up at any time and choose the months you want. You can go to their website at: www.moorebetterdriversed.com and find all of the information. If you have any other questions feel free to contact the school for more information.
- JUNIORS: If you are unsure of your prom balance that remains for the dinner/dance (not post-prom), please see Ms. Abbott. Prom balances must be paid by March 31st. Thanks!
- Get your Soccer Gear by March 17th. Order here by Sunday, March 17th 11:59 p.m.
- JOI Students: Your help is needed for can kennel sorting March 27th, at 2:00 p.m. This is our only fundraiser that enables us to do our meaningful projects. Please find your email from Mrs. Bailey and respond to the survey. Thank you so much!
- District wide March Madness Tournament Challenge Staff and students it's that time of the year again! March Madness! This will be the fourth annual district wide tournament challenge! The last few years we have had over 200 participants (staff and students) from all three schools compete. This year we will have groups for both the Men’s and Women's tournaments! Check your emails for further information and the flyers around the school. You can also follow this link for the men’s tournament group and this link for the women’s tournament group. Trophies will be handed out to first, second, and third place! Reach out to Mr. Beresh with any questions.
- Bus Duty this week is Mrs. Boldra and Parking Lot Duty is Mrs. Voss.
- High School volleyball meeting in Ms. Schneiders room at 7:30 AM on Wednesday March 20th.
- There will be an FBLA meeting on Tuesday during 5th hour to go over FBLA state agendas and leave time.
- MathCounts team members need to remember to return their permission slips and check with teachers on what you will miss in classes on Friday (March 22nd).
