National School Lunch Week will be celebrated next week, October 14th-18th. This year’s theme is “School Lunch Pirates: Find Your Treasure”. Check out the web article that explains more about the celebration.
The Middle School Halloween Dance will be next Friday October 18th from 6-8 PM in the middle school commons hosted by the Treynor Leadership Academy. Treynor students in grades 6-8 are allowed. We will be selling snacks, pizza, drinks and have prizes, including a prize for best costume! The cost to attend is $3. Treynor High School Dance Team is sponsoring a "Cereal Drive" during the month of October to help families in our community. Your donations of cereal will be directed to our local food pantry. They are in need of favorite kid cereals and pop-tarts. Collection boxes are located in each of the school's offices. See the flier for all the details.
Treynor Wrestling Apparel Store Deadline Approaches! Treynor Wrestling has new merch for the 2024-2025 season! From t-shirts to headgear, we have everything you need for both on and off the mat. 7th & 8th Grade Morning Weights: Weightlifting for 7th & 8th grade students will begin on Monday, September 9th. Sessions will run from 7:15-8:00 am. 7th Graders will be on Mondays & Wednesdays, 8th graders will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Visit The Strength & Conditioning Website for the full fall schedule.
The Treynor Community School Fund was created in partnership with Four Corners Community Foundation (4CCF) to provide tax-deductible donation opportunities for community members. The Fund will help with academic based needs in the school, primarily for special classroom grants. It dials in on hands-on learning in the classroom and supports teachers with creative ideas to enhance teaching experiences. Donations can be made anytime of the year! COMMUNITY NEWS
The annual Junior Class Fruit Sale Fundraiser Has Started! The Juniors are selling fruit boxes and meat/cheese snacks to raise money for the Parade of Stars, post-prom and expenses for their senior year such as a senior trip and graduation video. Orders can be placed with any Junior via cash or check, or online using any of the students’ individual sales links. The sale will end on November 7. Order deliveries will be made by the students sometime in the first half of December.

Check out JTW’s Fundraiser which contains cinch packs (customization available) and Port Authority Wearable Blankets. JTW helps our school in many ways, including the Senior Scholarships, Fine Arts funding with Night of the Arts and specific classroom supplies (e.g. 3D printer and robotic equipment for HS computer science). Bus Transportation is for students that have been assigned a bus through the transportation department and routinely ride to and/or from school. For bus management and student safety, students are only allowed to ride their assigned bus.

- Student admission is not free for the 24-25 school year but a large portion of the activity pass is being covered by donors. Student pass cost for all home events is $20. Adult activity passes can also be purchased for $150. The Activity Pass Link is here
- You can also purchase game-day home & event event tickets at Treynor's GoBound Ticket Page. While entry gates will have card readers available, pre-purchasing your digital tickets will speed up the process.
The speed limit in the school zone on Highway 92 is 25 mph during times when the lights are flashing. The school zone is highlighted in red below. These lights flash in the morning from 7:40 - 8:20 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3:20-3:50 p.m. (1:50-2:20 p.m. on 2:00 p.m. dismissal days). NOTE: The crosswalk flashing is managed by the City of Treynor.
