As we transition into winter sports, we want to celebrate the incredible efforts of our fall athletes and performers. Here's a recap of last week's accomplishments and a preview of what's coming up!

Class 1A State Football Playoffs - Round 2:

Treynor vs. Underwood: In a hard-fought matchup, Treynor narrowly lost 21-20, wrapping up a memorable season. I want to extend a thank you to our seniors for their leadership, to our coaches for their dedication, and to all our players for their commitment and teamwork this season.

November 2 - State Cross Country Meet:

Our girls' team finished 3rd in the state, the highest state finish in Treynor history as a team! Congratulations on this outstanding achievement. We're so proud of the athletes, coaches, and especially the seniors who helped lead the team to this historic finish. Congratulations on an amazing season!!

JH SWIBA Honor Band Auditions:

We had outstanding performances from all 7 of our students who made the trip to Clarinda this Saturday. Joslyn Magill and Talin Wolford both made the SWIBA Honor Band for Saxophone. We're proud of the dedication and hard work all of our students demonstrated!

This week marks the official start of the winter season for Girls Wrestling and JH Boys Basketball. If you haven't yet submitted your paperwork, please ensure it's turned into the office, especially if you did not participate in a fall sport.

Treynor High School Music Department presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella" on Saturday, November 9th at 7:30 PM and Sunday, November 10th at 2:00 PM. Get your tickets here.
