End-of-Year Staff Reception
Treynor Community School District staff were treated to a breakfast and awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 24th. Jeff Schoening and Gary Schuler received the highest of honors for each of their 34 years of service to the school district. The two were presented with retirement clocks and were asked to reflect on their years of teaching. Jeff served in education a total of 38 years, his first 4 years at Ponca Public Schools. Jeff hopes to spend more time with his family and attending more concerts. Gary spent a total of 37 years in education, his first 3 years at Boone Valley. Gary plans to spend more time with his family and fishing, after he finishes teaching his last Driver's Education class this summer. Congratulations and best wishes to these two men.

15 Years: Jenny Berens, Katie Campbell, Lisa Christensen
20 Years: Shana Elwood
30 Years: Darla Bryant
Staff that are not retiring but leaving the district were also honored, which includes: Clark Allen (HS History), Natalie Andersen (HS Spanish), Heather Behrendt (MS Math), Kodi Beller (MS English), Jacob Hedger (HS Principal), Jackie Konz (MS Social Studies) and Thad Nelson (HS Math).
