2/17/17 - Sam wrestled in quarterfinals this morning against Garet Sims and lost by decision 10-3. He later was matched up against Gave Irons and lost in the final seconds by decision 9-7. Sam will continue his wrestling career at Grandview University next year. Ending your high school prep career at state is always a great accomplishment. Good job, Sam!

2/17/17 - Sam Gregory's first round victory at State Wrestling in Des Moines on Thursday, February 16th advances him to the quarterfinals. He will wrestle again Friday morning, with 1A starting at 9:30 a.m.  See the Nonpareil's article here for more complete coverage. 

2/13/17 - Sam Gregory is now 36-0 for the season and was crowned Class 1A District Champ (182)! He won by technical fall and then a 12-5 win over Erik Jorgensen of AHSTW on Saturday in Underwood. Gregory advances to wrestle at state this week. The Class 1A session begins Thursday, February 16th starting at 1:30 p.m.

Also wrestling at Districts Saturday were Jayedon Thiel and Kendrick Umphreys. They did not place well enough to advance to state, but should be commended for their fabulous season.
