9/28/15 Update:
The Cardinals continue to battle it out each week, and have yet to get a district win in their column. Friday night saw action at Underwood. The Cardinals gave a great effort, but came up short in a loss 0-21. Keep fighting, boys! You still make us all proud.
9/21/15 Update:
The Cardinals traveled to Missouri Valley Friday night and had a hard time against the Big Reds, specifically Justin Miller who scored six touchdowns for the opponents. Treynor will be back in action Friday night at Underwood. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
9/14/15 Update:
The Cardinals lost a hard fought battle to IKM-Manning Friday night at home 7 to 21. Penalties and misssed chances ruled the game for the Cardinals, and the Wolves took advantage of those opportunities for the win. The Cardinals will be back in action Friday night at Missouri Valley. Local parent, Craig Keysor, has posted his photos to a Facebook album.
9/5/15 Update:
The Cardinal Football team has two games behind them and have a non-district 2-0 record. Their first game was held at Morningside College against Lawton-Bronson and came down to the wire, with a final field goal kicked by Jayedon Thiel to win it.
Friday, September 4th, was a home game against St. Albert, with all 22 of the Treynor points being scored in the 2nd quarter. The defense had to make several stands to hold off the Falcons, but endured the battle to come out victorious.
The next game will be at home on Friday, September 11th against IKM-Manning. This game begins district play, with game time at 7:00 p.m.
