White Christmas Musical A Hit

If you couldn't make it to this weekend's performance by our high school students, you sure missed out! On Friday night and Saturday afternoon and evening, the musical theater students and staff put on a production of Irving Berlin's "White Christmas, the Musical". 

Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters, Betty & Judy Haynes, en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander, General Henry Waverly. The rest of the story unfolds as they discover that the inn is falling on hard times. The duo decide to pull out all the stops and put on a show to help out the inn, but along the way some misunderstandings ensue and potentially interrupt the budding romance between the guys and the sisters. 

The cast was perfectly portrayed by a long list of talented students and was a perfect way to get in the holiday mood!
