MS-HS Card Pride Toy Drive
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOver the last couple of weeks, Middle School and High School Card Pride classes collected gifts and money for the New Visions "Adopt-a-Child" holiday program. This project was coordinated by the High School JOI Club. The Card Pride groups brought in over 150 gifts and more than $2000 in cash. This last weekend, some of the JOI members took the cash donations and did some shopping to complete each child's wish list.
JOI Sponsor Shelly Bailey stated, "We could not have done this without the generous giving spirit of our students, staff and parents in the Treynor School District. I am so thankful for all the donations and for the students who 'rocked' the shopping this weekend for the children. It gives me great pleasure to hand over these items to New Visions Community Liaison, Heather Beekhuizen."
