Friday, September 10th Schedule
8:00 Elementary, Middle and High School have their own activities in the morning.
11:30 High school students with approval will be dismissed and should promptly leave school grounds.
11:30 Middle School and remaining high school students will eat lunch and stay with teachers.
11-1 Burgers, brats & hot dogs @ Zion. See flyer for information.
1:00 Pep Rally at Athletic Complex. Please refer to the Pep Rally 2021 seating document for section assignments.
1:45 Parade Begins (route will run west to east, with floats lining up in the Football Field South Visitor Parking lot or St. Paul Lutheran Church parking lot. Elementary floats will line up first along South Eyberg just south of Park Street).
***Busses will leave immediately following parade***
3:00 Join the Vision Treynor Group for a ribbon cutting ceremony at "The T". Read the invite here.
3:00 K-5th Grade Combine Event by Cardinal Core at the HS Athletic Complex. See the flyer for details.
7:00 Football game at athletic complex. Treynor will play against Clarinda.
**If there is inclement weather, the parade will be canceled and we will have an adjusted schedule. The Pep Rally would be at 2:00 in the West Gym, including Coronation. Busses would run at the completion of the Pep Rally**
Dress-Up Days & Decorating
Students will still be taking part in Homecoming week events at school, such as hall and door decorating. Students and staff are encouraged to take part in the dress-up days during the week.

- Tuesday, September 7th: Pajama Day
- Elementary: "The Polar Express" - Dress in pajamas, slippers or robes
- ***DON'T FORGET TO BRING EXTRA SHOES FOR PE/RECESS***
- MS/HS: "The Breakfast Club" - Dress in pajamas, slippers or robes

- Wednesday, September 8th: Beach Day
- Elementary: "Moana" - Dress in Hawaiian shirts, flowers or flip flops (No swimsuits)
- MS/HS: "Jaws" - Dress in beach attire (No swimsuits)
- Thursday, September 9th: USA Day
- Elementary: "Captain America" - Dress in red, white & blue
- MS/HS: "Captain America" - Dress in red, white & blue
- Friday, September 10th: Spirit Day
- Elementary: "High School Musical" - Wear red & white to support your Treynor Cardinals
- MS/HS: "Friday Night Lights" - Wear your Treynor Cardinals attire
Hats/head-wear may be worn but must be part of the dress-up theme for the day. Please be sure the way you dress follows the proper guidelines for modesty, morality and shows respect for others.
High school students will take part in a contest between classes where points are given for hall decorations, class motto originality, float quality, percentage of students participating in dress up days and Friday morning activity results. Points will be awarded in each area as follows: 1st place 3 points, 2nd place 2 points, 3rd place 1 point and 4th place 0 points. A group of community members will judge the floats, class mottos and halls. The results will be announced at the Pep Rally.
Seniors will vote for 5 King and 5 Queen Finalists using a Google form on Wednesday, September 1st between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The finalists will be announced on Friday, September 3rd at 11:35 a.m. and immediately report to the HS Commons. All 9-12 students will then vote for 1 King and 1 Queen on Wednesday, September 8th between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
King & Queen will be crowned during half-time of the football game
Saturday, September 11th
What: Homecoming Dance for 9th-12th Grade Students
Time: 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Location: Middle School Commons
Cost: $5 for couple; $3 for single
