Mask Announcement
Dear Parents, Staff, and Students:
On Friday, May 14, we received notification that the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) updated its guidance for school districts regarding mask usage and quarantine procedures. Therefore, effective immediately, mask usage at Treynor Community School will be optional for all students, staff, and community members during the school day and during school events. This includes school transportation. However, we will continue to fully support all students, staff, and community members who continue to wear masks/face coverings. In addition, students and staff who are exposed to a positive case of Covid-19 will no longer be required to quarantine, but they will need to monitor their health and respond accordingly if symptoms develop. Only the positive individual will be required to isolate. See attached letter from the IDPH for additional information.
