Jazz Choir to Perform at State

Congratulations to the Treynor Jazz Choir for being selected to perform at the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championship competition on Tuesday, March 27th at Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Avenue in West Des Moines. Treynor will perform at 1:10 p.m. in the Staplin Performing Arts Center at the school.

For community members, friends and family who are attending, pleasure be aware that parking is at Valley Stadium located at 4440 Mills Civic Parkway. Shuttle busses will run regularly. Also, there is security screening for the event. All adult visitors must present one of the following approved identifications: driver's license, passport, military ID, Mexico consular ID, or permanent resident card (aka green card).  Completing the screening process could take up to 20 minutes, so please consider that as you plan your arrival for the performance.

The Jazz Choir members include:  Soprano I, Sophie Showalter, Isabelle Kudron, and Madison Shipley; Soprano II/Alto I, Kyla Mittan, Reagan Darrah, and Adrienne Suglia; Alto II, Molly Griffin and Delaney Waterman; Tenor, Jonas Keay and Jacob Lang; Baritone/Bass, Ty Kline, Garrett Pryor and Brendan Mass; Accompanist, Hannah McIntyre; Percussion, Will Halverson; Bass, Wynn Keller.
