State Track T-Shirts

State Track T-Shirt Order form is available here and needs to be returned to any school office by Monday at 10:00 a.m.

Congratulations to the high school track athletes that have automatically qualified for state with a 1st or 2nd place finish at the State Qualifying Track Meet on Thursday. The rest of the qualifiers will not be known until all results are entered from meets across Iowa.

The Treynor girls qualified in six events. Laura Hempel won the 100 hurdles, Callie Calfee captured the long jump and the team of Madison Paulsen, Alyssa Carley, Anna Tiegland and Tracy Purdy beat Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto in the 4x800 to qualify. Treynor also advances their girls in the 4x200 (Taylor Sudmann, Madison Paulsen, Kayli Christensen, Calfee), distance medley (Hempel, Calfee, Alyssa Carley, Tracy Purdy) and shuttle hurdle relay (Sudmann, Morgan Showalter, Sarah Duysen, Hempel).

The boys qualified three events with Trey Castle taking second in the 1600 meter race. Nick Paulsen qualified with a second place run in the 400 hurdles and teamed with Castle, Michael Wesley and Matt Deitchler to finish second in the 4x800.
