Two Qualify for State Cross Country
Congratulations to Senior Mason Yochum and Junior Alyssa Kulesa for qualifying for state cross country at the qualifier held in Shenandoah on Thursday, October 20, 2022. This is an extra-impressive accomplishment, considering they are both in band and in another sport. Mason is on the football team and Alyssa is on the volleyball team. Mason ran a PR of 17:38 and finished 13th, and Alyssa ran an impressive 20:59 and also finished 13th. Read the KMA article with interviews for more details about the SQM.
State Cross Country will be held at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge, Iowa on Friday, October 28, 2022. 2A Girls will run at 2:00 p.m. and 2A Boys will run at 2:45. p.m. See the State Meet Central website for details.
