5/19/2021 ~ STATE TICKET/VIEWING INFORMATION:

5/18/21: The IHSAA issued a press release which states that attendance limitations have been removed for this week's State Track following updated public health guidance and coordination with Drake University & the Polk County Health Department. Tickets already purchased through qualifying participants are still good for their assigned sessions. Go to the IHSAA Ticket Page Link at https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/ and then choose Track & Field from the menu. 

Co-Ed State Track Meet will air at no cost May 20-22, 2021 at https://www.ihssn.com/live.

5/14/2021 ~ Congratulations to our boys and girls track athletes that qualified for state last evening. It was a strong showing by both teams at our own hosted State Qualifying Meet. 

The girls qualified in the following events:

• Discuss - Stella Umphreys (2nd place with a throw of 107-01)
• Shot Put - Jadyn Huisman (3rd place with a throw of 36-03)
• 100 Meter Dash - Rachel Kinsella (2nd place with a time of 12.87)
• 4x200 - Jozie Lewis, Lillia William, Keelea Navara, Rachel Kinsella (1st place with a time 1:48.78)
• Sprint Medley - Allie Houser, Keelea Navara, Jozie Lewis, Rachel Kinsella (1st place with a time of 1:54.44)
• Shuttle Hurdle Relay - Rachael Phelps, Aubree James, Carissa Spanier, Lillia Williams (2nd place with a time of 1:11.08)

The boys qualified in the following events:

• High Jump - Noah James (2nd place with a jump of 6-05)
• Shot Put - Blake Sadr (2nd place with a throw of 44-02.5)
• Discus - Blake Sadr (1st place with a throw of 145-10)
• 100 Meter Dash - Josh Clark (2nd place with a time of 11.40)
• 1600 - Cole Dooley (2nd place with a time of 4:47.70)
• 3200 - Cole Dooley (1st place with a time of 10:47.55)
• 110 Meter Hurdles - Sid Schaaf (1st place with a time of 14.91)
• 400 Meter Hurdles - Sid Schaaf (1st place with a time of 54.92)
• 400 Meter Hurdles - Noah James (2nd place just a hair behind Sid with a time of 54.93)
• 4x100 Meter Relay - Evan Smith, Josh Clark, Noah Nelson, Jaxon Schumacher (1st place with a time of 44.00)
• 4x200 Meter Relay - Evan Smith, Josh Clark, Noah Nelson, Jaxon Schumacher (1st place with a time of 1:32.93)
• 4x400 Meter Relay - Todd Pedersen, Noah James, Devin Vorthmann, Sid Schaaf (2nd place with a time of 3:26.90)
