Treynor Art Students Honored
The art work of six Treynor High School art students was chosen to be on display in the YAM (Youth Art Month) Art Show at the State Historical Building in Des Moines during the month of March. Drawings by Madison Clark and Jacob Weis were also selected for the special honor of being included in the Governor's Show during the month of April.
Madison Clark also entered the Scholastic Art Awards competition. She entered four portraits and received 2 Gold Key awards, a Silver Key and an Honorable Mention. One of her Gold Key winners was also an American Visions Nominee. This honor is awarded to the top 5 works across all categories and will go on to compete nationally.
