Seven Seniors Awarded SWIEF Scholarships

On Wednesday, May 1st seven Treynor seniors were honored at the Southwest Iowa Educational Foundation's Scholarship Breakfast at New Horizons Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs, IA.  Treynor students receiving a scholarship are Abby Fenn--Warren N. & Cecil D. Wells Memorial Scholarship, Noel James--Warren N. & Cecil D. Wells Memorial Scholarship, Alora Nowlin--Phil & Barbara Wilson Memorial Scholarship, Makenzie Putnam--Pottawattamie County Cattleman's Association Scholarship, Kyle Christensen--Council Bluffs Soccer Club Scholarship, Molly Griffin--Funkhouser Scholarship, and Allison Green--Dr. Arthur Strohbehn Memorial Scholarship.  In total these seven students earned over $20,000 in scholarships to assist them with their post-secondary educational endeavors.
