Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team for their Runner-Up finish in Class 2A State Basketball! The Cardinals suffered their only loss of the season to the Cascade Cougars, 38-49. 3/9/18: For those that are not able to make the trip to Des Moines today for 3:45 Championship game vs. Cascade, there are a couple of ways to watch or listen to the game:

• Go to http://www.ihssn.com/tv-coverage.html and scroll down to Friday, March 9th and choose your TV subscriber for TV listings. This is the only way those that live in Iowa, Illinois or Indiana can watch the game. There are links and menu options at this link that explain the "Why IHSSN chose NBCSCH" that you can read if you have questions.
• If you live outside the states of Iowa, Illinois or Indiana, you can watch the game under the "Live Streaming" link, which can also be assessed directly here. Scroll down to Boys Basketball and Choose "viewing from outside Iowa, Indiana, Illinois" link.
• You can listen to the game via the IHSSN Audio LiveStream or on KMA FM 99.1 or KMA online.

3/6/18 UPDATE: The boys defeated Wapello 59-53 Monday during the quarterfinals of Boys State Basketball. Next up is the Semi-Final game against Aplington-Parkersburg on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Well. Click here for IAHSAA updated 2A bracket. Updated schedule information for the remainder of the week is as follows:

• Tuesday, March 6th
  • Tickets for the Semi-Final game on Wednesday are on sale in the Supt. office until 4:30 p.m. Cost is $10.
• Wednesday, March 7th
  • 1:00 Dismissal for students and staff (no Professional Development)
  • Tickets will be available for the semi-final game until 12:30 p.m. in the Supt. Office (There will not be a pep bus)
  • 6:30 p.m.  Boys Semi-Final Game at Wells Fargo Arena vs. Aplington-Parkersburg
  • Immediately after the game on Wednesday, tickets may be purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena for Thursday or Friday's game. Tickets can also be purchased online at Iowa Events Center. Tickets will not be available in Treynor after Wednesday's game.
• If we lose on Wednesday:
  • Thursday, March 8th - NO SCHOOL  (This information will also be relayed via the school's messaging system Wednesday evening)
    • 12:15 p.m. Boys Consolation Game at Wells Fargo Arena (There will not be a pep bus).
• When we win on Wednesday: 
  • Friday, March 9th -11:00 a.m. Early Dismissal-no lunch served (This information will also be sent via the school's messaging system)
    • 3:45 p.m. Boys State Championship Game
• When we win on Friday:
  • Sunday, March 11th:  2:30 p.m.  State Championship Recognition in East Gym.

3/1/18: Congratulations to the boys' basketball team and coaches on earning a trip to State! Treynor will play Wapello at 4:30 Monday, March 5th at the Iowa Events Center/Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The following is the schedule for the week of Boys' State Basketball:

• Sunday 3/4/18: Community Pep Rally at 3:30 p.m. 
• Monday 3/5/18: Early Dismissal at 11:30 a.m.
  • (NO LUNCH will be served)
  • Pep Band/Pep Bus Leaves at 1:00 p.m. (sign-up/pay $15 by Thur 3/1-price includes ticket)
  • When the team wins, they will play on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday 3/7/18: Early Dismissal at 1:00 p.m. (early dismissal is already on the calendar for Teacher PD)
  • Semi-Final Game at 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday or Friday's school schedules are yet to be determined. Consolation game is Thursday at 12:15 p.m. and the Championship game is Friday at 3:45 p.m.

Tickets will be on sale in the Superintendent's Office all day on Thursday, March 1st, at the pep rally on Sunday, March 4th and until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5th.  Cost is $10.
