JOI Students Coordinating Shoe Drive

A Shoe Drive is being coordinated during the month of April by JOI Students for New Visions Homeless Services. Bring in your gently used shoes and place in the boxes near any of the school offices. Please tie or rubber band matching pairs together (no singles please). Shoes that cannot be used for New Vision's clients will be repurposed or recycled through Funds2Orgs. Help us help our community and save the environment. Read more about textiles taxing landfills in the article "Why Shoes: The Story of Micro-Enterprise".

GOOD SHOES = Gently worn, used and new shoes that are in good condition, clean and still wearable.

BAD SHOES = Used shoes that have soles falling off, broken heels/part and are no longer wearable.

Thank you for your help with this project!
