10/24/16 - In Regional Volleyball tonight, the Cardinals swept Mt. Ayr 25-10, 25-13, 25-10 in what appeared to be easy fashion. The girls clicked and had a good rotation against the Raiders. Next round of play will be Thursday against St. Albert at St. Albert High School. Game time is 7:00 p.m. Read KMA and Omaha World Herald articles for in-depth coverage of the games.
10/17/16 - This week is a rest week for our girls to get ready for next week's Regional Volleyball action. Treynor will play at home on Monday, October 24th against the winner of the 1st round Mt. Ayr/Nodaway Valley game being held at Mt. Ayr on Tuesday, October 18th. Click here to see the Regional Pairing brackets and scroll down to Region 5 for Treynor's bracket. 10/14/16 - Western Iowa Conference Championship volleyball was played last night in Griswold. Treynor played Tri-Center and lost in a 4-game battle. It was a high intensity game and is sure to give the girls extra fire in preparing for the upcoming post-season play. Treynor will play Mt. Ayr or Nodaway Valley at home on Monday, October 24th. 10/12/16 - The volleyball team battled their way through five games against IKM-Manning in Western Iowa Conference tournament play last evening and came out vicorious 25-9, 25-20, 23-25, 18-25, 15-9. Treynor will play against Tri-Center in the championship round Thursday, October 13th in Griswold. Play time will be after the IKM-Manning/Audubon consolation round that starts at 6:00 p.m.
10/11/16 - Monday evening's Western Iowa Conference action saw Griswold beat Riverside to then advance to play against the home host, Treynor. Treynor came out on top of the Tigers, winning in three sets, 25-19, 25-21 and 25-12. Griswold will host the next round on Tuesday, October 11th. Tri-Center will play Audubon at 6:00 with the Treynor vs. IKM-Manning game to follow.
10/10/16 - Thursday, October 6th was Senior Nitght and a home match against Missouri Valley. The Caridnals were victorious against the Lady Reds in four sets, 25-14, 18-25, 25-23, 25-18. Next up is the Western Iowa Conference tournaments.
10/5/16 - On Tuesday, October 4th, the girls defeated Riverside 25-15, 25-10, 25-15. The next game will be this Thursday at home against Missouri Valley.
9/30/16 - This week the Cardinal Volleyball team traveled to AHSTW on Tuesday and won 25-11, 25-21, 25-12. At Thursday's home match, the volleyball won against Logan-Magnolia 25-20, 25-9, 25-15. Next Tuesday, October 4th, the team will travel to Riverside.
9/23/16 - On Thursday, September 22nd, the team made the long trip to Manning to square off against IKM-Manning, a strong Western Iowa Conference foe. The varsity girls won in three, fighting a real battle in all the games, 25-21, 26-24, 25-21. Way to stay #CardinalStrong, Ladies! The team will play at AHST-W next Tuesday, September 27th.
9/21/16 - The home game against Griswold was victorious for the Cardinal Volleyball team. The Cardinals rolled to a 3-set victory, 25-12, 25-13, and 25-17. Next game will be at IKM-Manning on Thursday, September 22nd.
9/16/16 - The girls traveled to Audubon and in the "WIC's loudest gym" overcame the noise and won in 4 matches: 25-21, 16-25, 25-22, 25-17. Next game is Tuesday, September 20th at home against Griswold.
9/14/16 - Last night's home opener against Underwood was full of intensity! The Cardinals won in 5 matches. The teams celebrated Annika Vohs, cheering her on in her fight against leukemia. An orange volleyball was donated by Red Oak and was auctioned off. Funds raised from the evening were over $3000, which will be given to the Vohs family to help with medical expenses. Annika was fortunate enough to have been released from her chemo treatment week on Saturday and was able to attend the game. Keep fighting, Annika! We're behind you all the way!
The girls will travel to Audubon Thursday, September 15th.
8/29/16 - Treynor Volleyball got off to a great start on Saturday, August 27th, at the Harlan Tournament. The girls fought all day long to come out on top! See Omaha World Herald article for more details about their triumphant victories. Way to Go, Cardinals.
