Homecoming 2015

Homecoming 2015 Court is Emma Myers, Hannah Carolus, Taylor McIntyre, Katie Suden, Taylor Sudmann, Grant Mantell, Michael Deitchler, Jason Hiebner, Taren Vacanti, Kyle Young

Homecoming is Friday, October 2nd, with a "Disney" theme. Many activities are scheduled throughout the week, including the parade, community pep rally, carnival, supper and game on Friday. And, to get you ready for the big day, the cheerleaders will be selling spirit items Monday through Thursday at the elementary. Middle School & High School students can see Mrs. Reed in the study hall room Monday through Wednesday. Click here to see their flyer.

Dress-Up Days (Elementary/Middle School/High School):

Monday:  Pajama Day

Tuesday:  Pink Out

Wednesday:  Dress like a Disney character

Thursday @ MS/HS:  Random Day (Would you still be my friend if I wore this?)
Thursday @ Elem:  Color Day (K-Purple, 1st-Blue, 2nd-Green, 3rd-Yellow, 4th-Orange, 5th-Red)

Friday:  Red/White

Hats or headwear (no masks) may be worn but must be part of the dress up theme for that day. Please be sure the way you dress follows the proper guidelines for modesty, morality and shows respect for others. 

 

Friday, October 2nd Schedule (some times are approximate)

8:25-1:00

During the morning hours, each building has their own schedule of events. High School students will be dismissed at 11:32 if a completed permission slip is returned with their parent/guardian's signature. Students shall promptly leave school grounds and not return until the pep rally. The permission slip will be shared with each student via Google Drive and should be returned to student's Card Pride teacher. Students who do not return the permission slip are expectd to stay at school until the school day is complete with lunch being served.

Lunch will be from 11:32-11:55 with 6th & 7th graders eating in the MS Commons and 8th graders & any remaining HS students eating in the HS Commons.

MS Students will go to Card Pride rooms from 12:00-12:40 and HS students will remain in the HS Commons. At 12:40, students will be escorted to pep rally.

Elementary lunch will be served as normal and students will leave at 12:35 to head to the Athletic Complex for the pep rally. Parents are being asked to sit in the parent section so elementary students can sit with their classmates & teachers.

Football game vs. Red Oak @ Athletic Complex

*Parade will be organized in the athletic complex visitor parking lot, will head north on Eyberg Ave. and proceed east on HWY 92 / Main St.  Parade floats will end up on Elementary Drive where students will be dismissed.  Once students are dropped off, floats may be stored behind the elementary, but need to be moved from Elementary Drive for bus pickup.  Floats that do not have elementary students may continue down HWY 92 to find a place to turn around.

(In case the parade is not held due to inclement weather, school will dismiss at 2:00 and the pep rally will be held in the west gym.)

 

Saturday, October 3rd:

 

8:00-11:00 pm              High School Dance in MS Commons

 

Tickets prices are $5 for a couple and $3 for a single that will be paid when entering.

 

Students that leave the dance will not be allowed to return. Please dress appropriately.

If you have a date that is not a Treynor High School student a Visitor Permission Form must be on file before the end of the day on Thursday, October 1st. This form should be picked up from and returned to the High School Office.

Middle School students and individuals over the age of 20 may not attend Treynor High School Dances.
