PERSONAL FINANCE

 

 

This course uses an integrated approach to developing financial knowledge.  This class will help students make informed financial decisions to improve their future wee-being.  This class will focus on preparing students to make wise and informed financial decisions.  Students will earn the basic financial management skills of earning, saving, spending, and financial planning.

 

EXPECTATIONS FROM MRS BEHRENDT

 

To help the class run smoothly, the following rules apply:

  • When the bell rings I expect all students to be in their seats and ready
  • Come to class prepared, no locker or restroom passes.  If you need to go prior to class and are going to be late please come to my room first and let me know
  • Be polite and respectful.  Manners are a MUST
  • Do not line up at the door when class is over.  Remain in your seats until the bell rings.
  • Absolutely no cell phones or headphones
  • Turn assignments in on time, if you are absent it is your responsibility to complete the work within 2 class days.
  • Ask questions if you do not understand
  • Class Participation
  • If you are absent on the day we take a test you will need to take the test on the first day back.
  • No food or drink
  • Have a positive attitude, leave your gossip outside the door
  • Academic Dishonesty will not be tolerated and will result in a zero
    • This includes both parties if cheating or sharing work

Grading Criteria:

  • This class will be graded as 60% for Tests, 10% for Quizzes, and 30% for Daily Work
  • Late work will be reduced 10% per day.  After 3 days the grade will default to a zero.
