Make plans to see the student-led production of "Clue: On Stage" at the Treynor Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 20th at 2:00 and 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. Get your tickets online.
Swing into Leadership! Join us for the 9th Annual Southwest Iowa Leadership Golf Scramble held at Bent Tree Golf Course Saturday April 27th @ 9:00 AM. For the past 31 years, the SWI Leadership Academy has provided a four-day leadership experience for area middle school students (including Treynor) who will be eighth graders the following year. No student selected will be turned away based on ability to pay. All proceeds from fundraising events benefit our local students. Graduates have gone on to be successful leaders in high school, college, and the adult world! Costs are $400 per team and includes 18 holes of golf, cart prizes, and post event meal. Limited to the first 36 teams. Includes pay It forward holes & closest to the tee opportunities! Please make checks payable to Southwest Iowa Leadership Academy and mail by April 17 to: 33814 Railroady Hwy Neola Iowa 51559. The Athletic Booster Bash is coming up on April 20th. The event will be held at the Treynor Community Center. Click here for more information and to get your tickets.
A Shoe Drive is being coordinated during the month of April by JOI Students for New Visions Homeless Services. Bring in your gently used shoes and place in the boxes near any of the school offices. Please tie or rubber band matching pairs together (no singles please). Read more here.
Elementary Night of the Arts is scheduled for April 22nd from 6-8 p.m. Join us for an evening full of Art & Music. Enjoy the walk through art displays of various projects by Treynor Elementary students under the direction of Ms. Weis. Delight in the scheduled musical performances in the elementary gymnasium directed by Mr. Stinman. Top off the evening with an ice cream social in the elementary cafeteria. Free will donations accepted to further advance the Elementary Art & Music program. Check out the schedule and map to find performance times and a map of artwork display locations.

Business Partners Needed! Our Academic Success Advisor & Career Coach, Mrs. Jenny Berens, is seeking partners for students to help guide their career path. This might include presenting to student groups about your job during career days, business site visits, job shadow, or even internships and/or apprenticeships. We are looking for these partners in all fields. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out to Mrs. Berens at jberens@treynorcardinals.org.
Register for your Council Bluffs Public Library Card here. Middle School students were paid a visit from the CBPL teen librarian this week and were presented with the benefits of having a library card with CB Public Library. This will allow students to check out books both digitally and in person. Side note: All residents of Treynor are able to get a CBPL card for free based on the City’s agreement with the library.

Tristan’s Trail 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 8:00 a.m. Follow the Event on their Facebook page to be informed of more details and to get registered when registration opens.

Bus Transportation is for students that have been assigned a bus through the transportation department and routinely ride to and/or from school. For bus management and student safety, students are only allowed to ride their assigned bus.
Important links for calendars & events:
- Academic Calendar for other early dismissals and no-school days. Keep in mind that every Wednesday is a 2:00 dismissal for Teacher In-Service.
- Breakfast & Lunch Menus (note: elementary and MS/HS menus are separate).
- Activities Calendar (Treynor CSD, like many other area schools, have switched to Bound for their activities calendar).
- Go to Treynor's GoBound Ticket Page to pre-purchase your game-day event tickets. While entry gates will have card readers available, pre-purchasing your digital tickets will speed up the process.
The speed limit in the school zone on Highway 92 is 25 mph during times when the lights are flashing. The school zone is highlighted in red below. These lights flash in the morning from 7:40 - 8:20 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3:20-3:50 p.m. (1:50-2:20 p.m. on 2:00 p.m. dismissal days).
