Keep on Learning, Treynor!

Our goal during the school closure is to keep all students engaged in learning!  We strongly encourage students to take full advantage of the learning opportunities provided by our teachers.  At this time, the online learning opportunities are voluntary.  Student work can be submitted for teacher review, but the work will not be formally graded.  Even though the learning opportunities are voluntary, we encourage all students to KEEP ON LEARNING!  Also, we ask parents to help us in this endeavor!

Grades K-5:  All elementary students & parents can refer to the Elementary E-Learning Website for weekly lesson plans. Teachers will also communicate to families via email.  If you have any questions please contact your child's teacher or Ms. Kay by email jkay@treynorcardinals.org or phone 712-487-3414 ext 1127.

Grades 6-12:  All 6-12 teachers will be using Google Classroom for their classes, and they will be posting two learning opportunities for each class every week.  They will also hold office hours through Google Meet twice a week.  During office hours, students can connect with their teachers, ask questions, and discuss the learning opportunities. Parents will receive an email inviting them to receive weekly summaries from Google Classroom. If you wish to change those notifications to daily summaries, you can do that by following the directions here.

Teachers will post assignments and meetings for the week in their gradebook for each class. At the end of the week, students will be given an assignment grade based on participation (HI) or non-participation (X). Parents will be able to see their student's participation level in the Parent Portal of JMC . Refer to Parent Instruction Document for directions.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time!
