Construction on the Transportation and High School addition continues to show progress. Due to heavy summer rains, the project is behind schedule with final completion of the Transportation Facility sometime in January 2020 and the high school addition around February 2021. As always with any construction, deadlines are tentative.
Click on the picture slideshow to the right to see some images of the recent progress.
The Transportation Facility will include drop-off lanes behind the elementary, as well as two bus buildings. One bus barn will be unheated and will hold up to eight buses plus vans and cars. The heated facility will include a break room, office and areas to maintain buses. The high school addition will include a new fine arts facility (theater, band, vocal & art classrooms), regular classrooms and more office space. The total facility project also includes renovations to the current space where the auditorium and fine arts classrooms are located.
