Lakin Outstanding Teacher Award Nominations are being sought for the 12th year. KMA and the Green Hills Area Education Agency, in conjunction with the Charles E. Lake Foundation, will recognize elementary and secondary educators for their commitment to providing quality education. This year, four teachers, two elementary and two secondary, will receive $10,000 during a special ceremony at their respective schools. Each recipient’s school district will receive $2500.

Iowa schools within a 40-mile radius of Emerson, Iowa are eligible. Nominations are being accepted through March 31st and award winners will be announced in May. Go to KMA Website to fill out nomination form.
