State Individual Speech
Four Qualify for All State
Treynor High School participated in Individual State Speech Contest Saturday March 11, 2017 in Johnston. There were 18 performances, 11 of which received straight 1 ratings, 5 received overall 1 ratings and 2 received overall 2 ratings (see complete results below). Congratulations to all who advanced and performed at state!
Congratulations to the following students who will be performing at Individual Speech All State Festival on March 27, 2017 at UNI:
- Junior Garrett Pryor will be performing ""Grandpa's Farm" in Storytelling.
- Senior McKayla Olsen will be performing "I Kissed a Boy Once" in Storytelling.
- Senior Bailey Andersen will present on "The Silence of the Lambs" in Reviewing.
- Senior Morgan Showalter will perform a self-written poem, "Sounds" in the category of Poetry.
