THS named a Top 10 High School
On September 12, 2016, Bank Iowa announced the results of the Bank Iowa Traveling Challenge Cup for the 2015-2016 school year. Treynor High School placed 6th in Class 2A in the state of Iowa.
The Bank Iowa Traveling Challenge Cup was introduced in 2007 and is a statewide competition designed to recognize Iowa High School students for academic excellence and outstanding achievement during state competitions. Points are assigned for every activity in reach a school reaches a state competition, advances in a state competition, receives Division I ratings and earns academic recognition from either the IHSAA, IGHSAU, IHSSA and IHSMA. Standings are determined based on the best combined score.
