Notice of Treynor School Board Vacancy
Pursuant to Iowa Code 279.6 the Treynor Community School Board publishes this notice of its intent to appoint a person to fill a vacancy on the Board at its regular board meeting, Monday, August 8, 2016. If you would like to be considered for appointment to this position you must submit your written request for consideration to the board secretary prior to the August 8, 2016 board meeting. Eligible electors of the Treynor Community School District have the right to file a petition requiring that this vacancy be filled by special election. Petitions for a special election must be received by the board secretary at the Treynor Administrative Offices at 102 E. Main Street, Treynor, Iowa within 14 days after publication of this notice; no later than Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 5:00 PM. Petitions must have the signatures of at least 109 eligible electors.
