Multimedia Class Wins Honors
Treynor High School's Multimedia class, instructed by Ms. Jennifer Anderson, recently was invited to Des Moines as one of the top four finalists in the Future Ready Iowa video contest. Five of the eight members traveled with Ms. Anderson to the State Capitol on Tuesday, April 19th and met with Representative Forristall and Senator Shipley. While there, Senator Shipley arranged for the class to go to the very top of the Capitol Building above the dome (something that is a rare treat).
Their project placed fourth in the competition and was created for the project in answer to the question "How could we encourage more young people to launch their careers in Iowa?". Their video can be found here.
Congratulations to this class on a job well done. Class members include Nolan Chapman, Sarah Duysen, Jerry Jorgenson, Lexi Killinger, Griffen Kline, Grant Mantell, Alec Mass and Hunter Weber. Sarah, Jerry and Lexi were unable to make the trip due to athletic event conflicts.
