School Calendar Adjustment
Last Day is May 27th
Make-Up Day Plan for Students:
As we enter the final months of the school year, it’s time to try and forecast the last day of school for this year. Thus far, we have missed four full days of school due to snow days, etc. Fortunately, we have three days allocated in the current calendar that students will not have to make up. Therefore, students only have the equivalent of one day of school to make up, pending any additional weather issues or unforeseen cancellations.
Students are scheduled to dismiss on May 27 according to the school calendar. The following school days will be adjusted to make up the lost instructional time:
- Wednesday, May 4 is scheduled as an early out for teacher professional development. Teacher PD is cancelled for this day and a full day of classes will be held with school dismissing at 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, May 27 is scheduled as an 11:00 a.m. dismissal. School will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27.
By making these adjustments the last day of school for students is still projected to be Friday, May 27 and students should not have to return after Memorial Day weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather and no additional make up days!
As always, thanks for your continued support of our students, staff, and programs.
Go Cardinals!
