Spring Pay it Forward Event
On Wednesday, April 1st, Treynor High School students participated in a Spring "Pay it Forward" Event and performed various acts of service and volunteer work in the community. Projects included:
- West Park raking & general clean-up
- Hwy 92 ditch clean-up
- Post office landscaping
- Hwy 92 ditch clean-up
- Ehrig Ave ditches clean-up
- East Park clean-up
- Re-stocked, organized, and cleaned the Treynor food pantry
- Risen Son volunteering
- Community Center general cleaning
- Baseball press box work (including recovering of chairs)
- Lined youth soccer fields
- Seeded Vision Treynor land
- Little library touch-ups and stencils
- Senior center clean-up
- Raking for the elderly
Students gave positive feedback after Wednesday expressing that it "feels good" to give back to the community.
