Art Education In Action
Mrs. Flaten has been teaching at Treynor for over 30 years and her experience in the classroom is invaluable. This school year, she is dedicated to 6th through 12th grade students, whereas in the past she has taught elementary students as well. In the picture slide show, the first two pictures depict Intro to Art students learning Printmaking. In the last three pictures, students are doing Batik which is applying hot wax fabric and dying it.
