Reception Honors Retirees

After all the students had cleared out for the last day of school on May 24th, a reception was held in the High School Commons honoring retirees and those not returning to Treynor CSD next year.

Retirees included Mrs. Norma Vorthmann and Mrs. Gayle Richter. Mrs. Vorthmann taught at Treynor for 15 years as the Family & Consumer Science Teacher. Mrs. Richter served the district for 22 years, most recently as a 4th Grade Teacher, but had previously taught the students in the TAG Program.

We thank both of these teachers for their service to our district and helping to make it a great place to learn.

In addition, there were two teachers honored who will not be returning to us next year. Tony Janssen and Tracy Jarrett are both leaving us to return to their hometowns of Peru, Nebraska Danbury, Iowa.  We appreciate the service and impact they provided to our students during their time at Treynor.

We wish all of these teachers success with their future endeavors!
